Revenues
The end of the year is nearing, and I was suddenly surprised by the revenues of our book that I received. I will give 99.5 percent of the revenues to a good cause, an ONCE stand near my home in Las Palmas. I’ll even double the revenues and make a donation into our son’s college fund. The revenues were not so impressive though, just a mere EUR 5.02. Just enough to buy a Spanish scratchcard.
Today I suddenly received the notification about the profit made from our book, ‘Thomas and Valentine‘. I was amazed because I did not realize it was still being sold, but apparently Amazon is managing to sell a few copies. The numbers are even improving… last month a total of 3 copies were sold. In the entire year almost 10 copies were sold!
Alex’ second album
After the first sheep crosses the dam more are bound to follow. The same holds true for (digital) photo albums. This is Alex’ second album covering the events from his first birthday till his second birthday.

Better late than never. Alex finally has an album with photos from his birth to his first birthday. The album was easily made using software from the hema. In addition to a nice printed version they even prepared a free online version.

Guilty pleasures. A song that you like to hear but still you feel a little ashamed to admit it. This basically holds true for all the music related posts on this blog. Here is a nice dutch song, which fits nicely in this category.

Sint and piet
It is still about a month before the birthday of the sint will be celebrated, but still I have the feeling I was just in time. Just in time buying a play-mobile set with a white sint and a couple of black piets. Just as the tradition prescribes.

Fourth postcard to Spain
The fourth postcard comes with quite a bit of explanations. All the prices of all four postcards need to be collected, en the sets of two prices need to be pasted together.
This needs to be done in the following manner:
Latitude: – xx.xxxx
Longitude: -xx.xxxxx
The coordinates refer a a place somewhere on earth. A place we wanted to go a long time ago, but we never did. Will this be the occasion where we do realize one of our dreams?

Third postcard to Spain
The third postcard comes with a little help. It is explained that there need to be made a few combinations. The price of the happy meal and the price of the dress are related. The prices of the sun glasses and the broom are also related.

The second postcard also had an advertisement. This time it features a nice broom from the Gamma, but rest assured. There is no deeper meaning to the card as our home is always nice and clean.
