It is really true!!!

I have not see any police chase in the time I’ve been in America. I’ve been in Hollywood for two hours and while walking through the street (Hollywood Blvr) I encounter one total loss police car, eight police cars standing all over the place, police officers managing traffic, one bad guy car which was black with tinted windows and quite some dents and cops everywhere with guns, sticks and notebooks.

I directly took a few pictures. Most feature the total loss police car and a thing very typical for Hollywood, pretty girls.

I have arrived in Hollywood and it is a pretty cool place! The ambiance is very nice and the temperature not so. Right now I’m planning to try and climb the mountain and visit the famous Hollywood sign. Maybe I can even urinate against the H.

Tomorrow I’ll take off to visit LA. I heard quite a lot of negative stories about LA which makes me think it might be something like Detroit :-r

I’m definitely curious and if I don’t like it there I’ll just continue to the next city. They have a beach, so how bad can it really be.

Yesterday I met a professional lifeguard. This one did resemble the girls you see in the Baywatch series. The only bad thing was that she wasn’t working. It was a Scottish girl that had worked as a lifeguard for 7 weeks but on a different beach. She was now enjoying a little holiday on another beach.

I just visited Mexico, Tijuana. It was a nice tour arranged by some people at the hostel I was staying. There were 21 of us. The first thing I noticed where the number of pharmacies where you could buy your medicines. There were multiple pharmacies in every street. Apparently in Mexico you can get a lot of drugs without recipe and a lot of Americans make use of this.

The rest of Tijuana was one big tourist trap. I didn’t like it so much.

In the hostel I’m staying at now there is also a Czech girl and she was not impresses by my pronunciation of bollost’. :-(

Now I did learn that in the Czech republic they also have a tolerant approach to some soft drugs. Just like there is a place in Denmark where according to some Danish person you can get all the drugs known to man.

I just keep thinking about this theme… ever since I left Vegas. It is even starting to frustrate me. I keep thinking about the influence time has in playing a slot machine… meaning that the result of a game will be identical if you play now or just wait 5 minutes and then plays. It the slot machine uses the time as some variable the result will be different, but still….

Even if someone claims time does have an effect, it will be impossible to prove.

I have arrived in the Gaslight district of San Diego. I’m staying in a little hostel where some great music is sounding in the halls.

Of course I had trouble finding the place and I ended up at some weird national park. It was the weirdest national park I have ever seen…. the place where the first European sailors set foot on the continent, but the coastline near Noordwijk/Wassenaar/Scheveningen is more interesting.
