Honest trade

Today I arranged for my new car to be parked in front of my parents house for a few months. In return they also got my laptop with Internet, MSN and mail. The only thing missing is Skype. This way we can keep in contact.

Of course I did not forget to install the most useful Windows application.

Buyh!

It is great to spend money.. en even better if the product you are buying is guaranteed to relaxation and happiness. Although some people cannot understand it I just bought a new CD by Gary D with some nice German trance music. It is his 26th CD already.

The actual purpose of my shopping spree was trying to find a little ducky for the bath that I needed for a birthday, but this I did not find. Still, I have a week left to try and find it.

The first steps

I did it! I started reading my Lonely Planet book. This, combined with advice from friends and ex colleagues resulted in a short list with places I would like to visit; San Fransisco, Las Vegas and a big park with lots of rocks. This morning I was chatting with Bar and it bettered my desire to get a nice planning/itinerary.

Preparing the USA trip

How exciting, just one more week and then I have planned my trip to the United States. Armed with a Lonely Planet book about the USA and a map by Michelin. Bad thing is I didn’t open and review the book and map yet.

I wanted to leave in July but a number of things came up.. a less then positive bluesnight (you learn from your mistakes, and I learned a lot), a cocktail event, the birthday of Bar combined with a BBQ and the half marathon in Leiden.

In may I’m free

The entire month of May I was on holiday, but my calling to do nothing was to strong.. I just had fun and didn’t do any investigating. May was a good month. I bought a car, because I had to return my lease car, the liberation festival with some cake in Wageningen, a visit to the petting zoo to make some pictures, a number of BBQ’s after going running ad a very nice Pinkpop with incredibly funny mushroom effect to close the month.
