Met neme een guava, voege daaraan toe wat volcanic stone extract, en het resultaat is een zeer lekker ruikende rode douche gel.
Nog leuker is het als je het goedje ook gebruikt. Het lijkt op een vage manier een beetje op bloed, maar dan lekker ruikend en gelukkig niet afkomstig uit je lichaam… misschien hadden ze deze axe boost over carrie moeten gooien in plaats van varkensbloed.. was het waarschijnlijk een stuk leukere film geworden.
Tsja, wat doe je op zo’n prachtige dag.. je stuurt wat post naar Chicago, raakt een beetje verbrand door het in de tuin liggen en het fietsen van Leiden naar Noordwijkerhout en weer terug, je verbaast je over de term ‘schuine kast’ en dat naast mijn directe familie niemand weet wat het is.
Maar ik had vandaag toch nog een bezigheid gevonden die de moeite waard was… fototjes maken van de vage, extreem vage plantjes op mijn balkon…

I am very proud of my Cannabis plants. Finally I have a potential profitable situation where I have a use for my green fingers. From the plants I have my plan is to try and sell at least one. Maybe as a raw product, or maybe as a prepared good like a cake.
But I recently found out something… I am not alone. Worst even, in my family I am just an amateur, messing around with peanuts , a muddling fool.
Elsewhere in my family cannabis plants are being grown in large production halls, 250 plants at a time. Maybe it is a genetic thing, that gives me the need and drive to grow cannabis. Maybe next year I need to think bigger. I still have a room that I’m not using and an almost empty storeroom.
Think big!
During my most recent visit at my parents I was quite unpleasantly surprised by what I found. Their plant was over twice as big as mine. My plant reaches around 21 cm in the air, and my parents plant has exceeded my expectations by reaching almost 43 cm in the air. It is over twice as large! Aargh!
But there is also good news. My plant and my families plant just got company. Imported from the Far East (NL) a new plant has been added to my balcony. It is another type but I expect fun and happiness in encouraging it to grow.
Vandaag heb ik ‘m toch maar gekocht. Push the button, het album van de chemical brothers, en ik moet zeggen, hij bevalt bijzonder goed :-).
Na pinkpop kon ik eigenlijk ook niet anders. Van de prodigy heb ik alles al, en hun optreden annex live-cd-afspeling werd alleen overtroffen the chemical brothers, dus moest daar een cd van, in mijn huis, aanwezig zijn.
De grondige screening is uitgevoerd, en de fototjes staan inmiddels online!
Ook staat er nog een leuke pinkpop review online.
Pinkpop was weer een bijzonder geslaagd feest. Het meest heb ik genoten van rowwen heze, die tegen mijn verwachting in een bijzonder goeie sfeer wisten te creëren, the chemical brothers, met de beste show van heel pinkpop, within temptation en the prodigy, en de laatste (eindelijk zonnige) dag met o.a. thirteen senses, novastar en kaiser chiefs.
De afsluiting van pinkpop met faithless vond ik alleen erg tegenvallen. Zeker niet de beste act van het pinksterweekend, en het begin met twee podia naast elkaar die allebei bezig waren sloeg echt als een tang op een varken.
We staan trouwens nog met een fotootje op de pinkpop site! De andere foto’s ga ik nog (na grondige screening) online zetten.
Morgen is het weer zo ver! Pinkpop 2005!
Dat wordt genieten en dat wordt feest. Hopen dat het weer een klein beetje meezit, en dan verwacht ik de perfecte invulling van een lekker lang pinksterweekend. Goed, het is geen uitverkochte zaal, maar wat maakt het uit. Er zal best goeie muziek gespeeld worden, en de sfeer alleen al is al een ervaring die je niet mag missen.
Verder heb ik de vitamine c pillen, de cafeïne pillen, de vitaminen in drinkvorm, de champignon, de red bull, de doos met groene takjes, de gezonde broodjes, de blikjes bier en de fles met spa blauw al helemaal klaar staan. :-D
Oh, en vorige week nog voorspelde het knmi dat er 60% kans was op regen. Inmiddels is die kans al gedaald naar een miezerige 40%, dus dat is een goeie weertrend.
I’m ready for it!
Naturally I brought a bunch of souvenirs from my weekend in Prague. One of the souvenirs is a small special bottle of ‘Absinth – The Green Fairy’. Since a few days I know that you don’t just drink Absinth just like that. No! There is ritual you need to follow, and if there’s something I like it’s rituals. :-)
This is the official (Czech) Absinth ritual:
· Fill up a very small glass with 1/4 of Absinth.
· Place a special teaspoon on top of the glass, and place a little cube of sugar on top of the teaspoon.
· Poor 1/4 of Absinth over the sugar cube that is hanging above the Absinth.
· Light the sugar cube and let it burn for a while (like a minute).
· When the sugar cube starts to turn to caramel extinguish the fire and stir the sugar through the Absinth.
· Add some ice cold water to the Absinth and it is ready to drink. Enjoy!
To illustrate:
The spoon with the sugar is on top of the glass. After poring some absinth over it you simply burn the sugar… wait a little and that stir everything together. That’s it. Be careful though… there is a rumor that says you might get drunk very fast.
