This time I&#8217;ll be baking a honey-cake! Based on a traditional Czech recipe. :-p<\/p>\n<p>Tomorrow or this weekend I&#8217;ll give my culinary abilities a nice test. I already got all the ingredients and all the equipment. All I need to do is make the connections and hopefully a delicious cake will be the result. With this cake I should probably invite my parents and brother to come by and visit, so that all future criticism about lacking cookies will be ended. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Okay, this is the recipe:<\/p>\n<h2>Honey Cake I<\/h2>\n<p><strong>You need<\/strong>:<br \/>\n<strong><big>&middot;<\/big><\/strong>&nbsp;2 honey spoons<br \/>\n<strong><big>&middot;<\/big><\/strong>&nbsp;2 milk spoons<br \/>\n<strong><big>&middot;<\/big><\/strong>&nbsp;1 egg<br \/>\n<strong><big>&middot;<\/big><\/strong>&nbsp;15 dkg powdered sugar<br \/>\n<strong><big>&middot;<\/big><\/strong>&nbsp;5 dkg  butter<br \/>\n<strong><big>&middot;<\/big><\/strong>&nbsp;1 soda bicarbona tea-spoon<\/p>\n<p><strong>Do<\/strong>:<br \/>\n<strong><big>&middot;<\/big><\/strong>&nbsp;Mix everything together.<br \/>(My experience is that it is easier to mix everything this way &#8211; You lay a pot over another one with boiling water and mix everything in the upper one.)<br \/>\n<strong><big>&middot;<\/big><\/strong>&nbsp;Add 50 dkg four (we call that sort of flour &#8216;smooth&#8217; but I don&#8217;t know if you have different sorts of flour).<br \/>\n<strong><big>&middot;<\/big><\/strong>&nbsp;Make a dough.<br \/>\n<strong><big>&middot;<\/big><\/strong>&nbsp;Roll the dough with a rolling pin into 4 flat pancakes.<br \/>\n<strong><big>&middot;<\/big><\/strong>&nbsp;Lay a baking paper onto a baking sheet and lay a pancake on a baking sheet and bake it.<br \/>\n<strong><big>&middot;<\/big><\/strong>&nbsp;Pile all baked pancakes and &#8216;glue&#8217; them together with creme (butter, powdered sugar, flour, milk)<\/p>\n<h2>Honey Cake II<\/h2>\n<p><strong>You need<\/strong>:<br \/>\n<strong><big>&middot;<\/big><\/strong>&nbsp;350g  smooth flour<br \/>\n<strong><big>&middot;<\/big><\/strong>&nbsp;1 egg<br \/>\n<strong><big>&middot;<\/big><\/strong>&nbsp;100g sugar<br \/>\n<strong><big>&middot;<\/big><\/strong>&nbsp;50g butter<br \/>\n<strong><big>&middot;<\/big><\/strong>&nbsp;2 honey spoons<br \/>\n<strong><big>&middot;<\/big><\/strong>&nbsp;A little bit of cinnamon<br \/>\n<strong><big>&middot;<\/big><\/strong>&nbsp;1 soda bicarbona tea-spoon<br \/>\n<strong><big>&middot;<\/big><\/strong>&nbsp;1 water spoon<\/p>\n<p><strong>Do<\/strong>:<br \/>\n<strong><big>&middot;<\/big><\/strong>&nbsp;Whip everything , except flour, together in a pot on a oven.<br \/>\n<strong><big>&middot;<\/big><\/strong>&nbsp;Add flour and make a dough.<br \/>\n<strong><big>&middot;<\/big><\/strong>&nbsp;Greese a baking tray and dust it with a little bit of flour.<br \/>\n<strong><big>&middot;<\/big><\/strong>&nbsp;Put dough on a baking tray and make it flat with your hands.<br \/>\n<strong><big>&middot;<\/big><\/strong>&nbsp;Bake it.<br \/>\n<strong><big>&middot;<\/big><\/strong>&nbsp;Spread the cold pancake with a creme and leave it for a next day.<br \/>\n<strong><big>&middot;<\/big><\/strong>&nbsp;Cut it into stripes and pile it one on another.<br \/>\n<strong><big>&middot;<\/big><\/strong>&nbsp;Spread the surface with creme and sprinkle with chopped  nuts.<\/p>\n<h3>How to make creme?<\/h3>\n<p><strong>You need<\/strong>:<br \/>\n<strong><big>&middot;<\/big><\/strong>&nbsp;3\/4 l milk<br \/>\n<strong><big>&middot;<\/big><\/strong>&nbsp;200g  sugar<br \/>\n<strong><big>&middot;<\/big><\/strong>&nbsp;1 package vanilla sugar (Do you have anything like this?  If not, just skip it)<br \/>\n<strong><big>&middot;<\/big><\/strong>&nbsp;8 flour spoons<br \/>\n<strong><big>&middot;<\/big><\/strong>&nbsp;1 vanilla pudding spoon<br \/>\n<strong><big>&middot;<\/big><\/strong>&nbsp;2 yolks<br \/>\n<strong><big>&middot;<\/big><\/strong>&nbsp;250g butter<br \/>\n<strong><big>&middot;<\/big><\/strong>&nbsp;Rum (a little bit)  :-))<\/p>\n<p><strong>Do<\/strong>:<br \/>\n<strong><big>&middot;<\/big><\/strong>&nbsp;Mix 1\/4 l milk, flour, yolks and vanilla pudding.<br \/>\n<strong><big>&middot;<\/big><\/strong>&nbsp;Cook 1\/2 l milk with sugar.<br \/>\n<strong><big>&middot;<\/big><\/strong>&nbsp;Add mixture ad a) to hot milk ad b) and cook till it&#8217;s thick.<br \/>\n<strong><big>&middot;<\/big><\/strong>&nbsp;Let it cool down a little bit and add butter, rum and whip it all<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Why do people, when I say I&#8217;ll be baking a cake, directly assume it will be a space-cake&#8230; I&#8217;m not making a space-cake this time.
